SIDNEY — ZoSo – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience will headline the first concert series taking place in downtown Sidney in the parking lot located behind The Sidney Historic Theatre. ZoSo will play on Saturday, June 24, at 7 p.m. Admission to the event is free to the public.
The group has a captivating and accurate live show that feels and sounds like the original Led Zeppelin. Each band member portrays the style and appearance of their Led Zeppelin counterpart, bringing over 18 years of experience touring the world. The show hearkens back to the original Zeppelin group with authentic vintage instruments and spot-on vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards.
Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience formed in 1995 to perform the most accurate and captivating Led Zeppelin live show since the real thing. For Zoso, it’s more than just a tribute; the members work to embody Page, Plant, Bonham, and Jones in their spirit, talent, and authenticity.
Each band member portrays both the appearance and playing style of their Led Zeppelin counterparts. In eighteen successful years of touring, they have perfected their art. As one of the longest tenured Zeppelin tributes, Zoso has traveled the world performing.
The Worn Flints will headline for Zoso. The Worn Flints are a three-piece rock group from Columbus, Ohio. Their music draws influences from Blues, Psychedelic Rock, Folk, and Reggae with a focus on abstract song structures and extended heavy instrumentation.
A collaboration between local organizations Sidney Alive and Raise the Roof for the Arts, This and the other concerts in the series will be held in the parking lot behind the Sidney Historic Theatre and the Post Office. The blocked off concert area will have food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks for attendees over 21 years of age.
The concert series will be held on the following dates: Saturday, June 24; Saturday, July 29; and Saturday, Aug. 25.
Concerts will be from 7 to 10 p.m. each night, with the area opening at 5:30 pm to concert goers. Local sponsors for the event include the city of Sidney, Sidney Body Carstar, Lochard Inc., Wilson Health, Airstream, TAMFM, Western Ohio Cut Stone, Edison Community College and Westerheide Construction.
