SIDNEY — Two road projects are scheduled to begin next week.

Jutte Excavating Inc., from Fort Recovery, will begin the rehabilitation of a concrete slab bridge on Hardin Wapakoneta Road on Wednesday, July 5, according to County Engineer Bob Geuy. The road will be closed to traffic between MillCreek Road and Greenville Road beginning Wednesday.

The bridge project will take approximately five weeks to complete.

The Shelby County Highway Department will begin the replacement of a concrete bridge deck on Miami-Shelby West Road on Monday, July 3. The road will be closed to traffic between Rangeline Road and state Route 48 beginning Monday. The bridge deck replacement will take approximately one month to complete.
