(Passionate, Optimistic, Women, Encouraging, Results) continues to carry out their mission in making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. POWER is helping out the Salvation Army in preparing backpacks with school supplies for Shelby County schools to distribute to children who are in need. The “Kits for Kids” backpacks will be for elementary and middle schools. POWER is donating $1,500 towards the purchase of the kits and backpacks.
