SIDNEY — The Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (SCARF) has announced that June 28 is the deadline to nominate cats for its 2015 Top Cat award.

Pet owners can submit photos of their cats for a fee of $5 per cat. Public voting, at $1 per vote, will open July 6 and continue through July 19. The cat who raises the most money for SCARF in that time will be named the 2015 Top Cat of the Upper Miami Valley.

The winning cat will get a professional photo session at Picture Perfect Photos and Design, a cat scratcher combo set, toys and treats. The winning cat’s photo will be featured on the SCARF website, Facebook page and brochure.
