House fire


A Maplewood firefighter cuts holes on the roof of a house at 2322 LeFevre Road Thursday, Oct. 12 at around 2 p.m. while combating a large fire. Responding to the scene were firefighters from Anna, Jackson Center, Van Buren TWP and Port Jefferson. Also responding was a Sidney medic and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. A dog was reported to have been found deceased when firefighters arrived.
