Upper Valley Career Center
PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6 p.m., Oct. 23, in the Adams Board Room at the school.
The board will consider employment contracts, a separation contract, donations, policies and regulations and tuition reimbursements.
Sidney City Council
SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building.
It is expected for council to adopt two ordinances to enact the codification of ordinances in the City Code Book and to amend the traffic control map establishing handicap parking spaces at Holy Angels Catholic Church on South Main Avenue and Water Street.
Council is expected to adopt three resolutions, and they are:
• To authorize the city manager to enter into fire and EMS contracts with various townships;
• To authorize and direct the law director to initiate litigation against Miller Pipeline Company to collect a debt;
• To authorize the submittal of proposals with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for grants through the U.S. Department of Transportation for various grants and to execute the contract upon proposal acceptance.
There will also be discussion about the tax levy renewal, council’s biennial retreat, and canceling the December workshop and second regular meeting, as well as the addition of a special meeting for the election of the mayor and vice mayor.
Fort Loramie Board of Education
FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6:25 p.m. in the high school media center to conduct treasurer interviews.
Anna Village Council
ANNA — The Anna Village Council will meet Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. to discuss zoning and medical marijuana in the village.
North Central Ohio Solid Waste Management District
URBANA — The Board of Directors of the North Central Ohio Solid Waste Management District will meet Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 9 a.m. at the Champaign County Community Center, 1512 S. Main St., Urbana.
