Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet on Monday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m in the Municipal Building’s Council Chambers.

There will be discussions on the tax levy renewal and on further discussion about the city’s 2018 budget.

Council will be introduced to two ordinances on supplemental appropriations for 2017 and an ordinance amendment pertaining to water, sewer, stormwater and solid waste collection rates.

It is expected for council to adopt two resolutions to authorize the city manager to enter into an agreement with the Shelby County public defender commission, and to authorize and the law director to initiate litigation against miscellaneous property owners in Sidney who have failed to either conduct required sanitary sewer lateral inspections or necessary repairs to laterals, in conjunction with the city’s I & I Program.

Council will also go into an executive session to consider the employment of a public employee.

Loramie Township Trustees

RUSSIA — The Loramie Township trustees will meet in regular session, Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in the Russia Fire House.

The meeting is open to the public.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 202 W. Poplar St.

The board will consider an order to remain vacant at 217 1/2 E. North St., the planned 2018 Solid Waste Clean-up Day, and a harm reduction program before moving into executive session.

Russia Board of Education

RUSSIA — Due to a scheduling conflict, the Russia Local Schools Board of Education meeting has been changed to Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. in the school’s library.
