Crop certification due July 17 at FSA

0

Shelby County farmers are reminded the deadline for reporting crops for 2017 crop year is July 17.

Most FSA programs require certification of all acres on the farm to receive benefits. Certifying by the deadline will eliminate the necessity of paying late filing fees beginning at $46 per farm.

Farmers need to record the crop planted along with the date the crop was planted.

We currently are taking appointments and we are filling up fast as the deadline approaches. Don’t miss out on this free service to receive program benefits and call the office to schedule your appointment today at 937-492-6520.
