MONDAY

-10:46 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Marco Alvarez, 35, on a charge of driving under the influence in the 1500 block of St. Marys Avenue.


-9:36 p.m.: assault. Danny Leslie Bryant II was assaulted at 302 E. Court St.


-7:31 p.m.: theft. Charles D. Coy reported the theft of medication from 823 E. Court St.


-6:33 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Joseph Blackford Jr., 31, on a warrant.


-5:53 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Rodney Schloss, 27, on a warrant.


-4:55 p.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 1820 Broadway Ave.


-3:26 p.m.: possession of drugs and criminal tools. Police found a crack pipe and residue of crack cocaine at 1010 Wapakoneta Ave.


-2:30 p.m.: theft. Gary Swain reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle at 503 S. Highland Ave. and stole a cordless drill and drill bits, valued at $150.


-2:04 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Trina Frasure, 39, on a warrant.


-8:07 a.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Christian Manor, 20.


-2:12 a.m.: assault. Randy S. Epley reportedly was assaulted at 553 N. Vandemark Road. He suffered an apparent minor injury. Police said he refused to cooperate with the investigation.


-1:32 a.m.: unruly juvenile. Police arrested a 14-year-old boy on a charge of being unruly.


SUNDAY

-11:41 p.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Ledre Collins, 20, of Lima, in the 800 block of East Court Street on a charge of drug abuse for alleged possession of a marijuana.


-10:10 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported her daughter left the house and is in Georgia without her permission.


-5:47 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Sandra R. Webber, 29, on a warrant.


-5:12 p.m.: burglary. Anson J. Matthews reported the theft of a PlayStation 3, valued at $200, and a 2-year-old, white pit bull, valued at $200, from his residence at 222 N. Pomeroy Ave.


-3:27 p.m.: theft. William H. Fry reported the possible theft of a license plate sticker from 1232 Spruce Ave. Loss was set at $35.


-2:45 p.m.: theft. Richard Turner reported someone stole his mailbox, valued at $50, from 536 Plum Ridge Trail.


-1:16 p.m.: theft and abusing harmful intoxicants. Police arrested Craig J. Teague, 30, 10095 Oak Creek Drive, on charges of theft and abusing a harmful intoxicant. He allegedly stole a canned-air product, valued at $4.96, from Walmart.


-11:56 a.m.: theft. Dewane Eichenauer reported his mailbox, valued at $150, was stolen from his residence at 766 Marva Lane.


-11:19 a.m.: warrant. Police arrested Petronilio Velasquez, 29, of Dayton, on a warrant for contempt.


-11:09 a.m.: theft. Julie A. Sharp reported her mailbox, valued at $50, was stolen from her residence at 1033 E. Parkwood St.


SATURDAY

-8:03 p.m.: criminal damaging. Sara M. Meiring reported her car was dented while parked in her driveway at 1111 Morris Ave. Loss was set at $200.


-6:23 p.m.: theft. Personnel at the Kroger gas station reported someone drove off without paying for $20.01 worth of gas.


-2:37 p.m.: theft. Robert L. Elsner reported a person who was financial secretary for the Sidney Eagles, 433 E. Court St., had made $4,000 in purchases without authority to credit cards belonging to the Sidney Eagles. The same person also opened a credit card in the name of the previous financial secretary, Wayne F. Brockman, and had a balance of $19,000.


-9:26 a.m.: criminal damaging. Renee Geier reported someone tried to enter her vehicle at 1103 Appleblossom Lane. Door handles were damaged, causing a $100 loss.


-2:40 a.m.: breaking and entering. Tools and wiring, valued at $1,900, were stolen from Sollmann Electric, 310 E. Russell Road, and then recovered at the same location.


FRIDAY

-5:22 p.m.: criminal damaging. A taillight was broken on the vehicle of Marshell Elliott at 514 Sycamore Ave. Loss was set at $50.


-5:05 p.m.: breaking and entering. Someone broke into a garage at 527 Fourth Ave. and stole two crossbows and a chain saw, valued at $500, belonging to Matthew Terry.


-4:21 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported her grandson did not return home after school.


-4:03 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Police arrested Jacob S. Martin, 20, 92 Brooklyn Ave., on a grand jury indictment for possession of drugs and possession of criminal tools.


-2:27 p.m: property found. Some eyeglasses found in the Police Department parking lot were given to police.

-10:50 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Jarrett Burton, 19, on a contempt warrant.


-9:47 a.m.: criminal damaging and criminal trespass. Personnel at Damar Products, 516 Park St., reported someone entered the fenced area of the business and damaged the remote for a garage door. Loss was set at $25.


-4:06 a.m.: receiving stolen property. Police arrested Jacob Martin, 20, on a charge of receiving stolen property. He was charged in connection with a breaking and entering at Ross Aluminum, 815 Oak Ave., in which a 51-inch TV was stolen on Jan. 23.


-4:05 a.m.: theft. Police arrested Joseph Teasley, 36, on a theft charge. He was charged with the theft of $100 cash and a cell phone, valued at $50, from Lisa Long at 525 E. North St., on Feb. 20.


MARCH 5

-6:30 p.m.: theft. Nia L. Reed reported someone stole her bank card from 1001 Fourth Ave. and used it without her permission.


MARCH 1

-6:49 p.m.: theft. A stove and refrigerator owned by Neil Schroer were stolen from 402 N. Miami Ave. They were valued at $600.


Accidents

A woman died after an auto accident Saturday night, but police said the death was caused by a medical problem, not the crash.


At 6:35 p.m., Marilyn Kloeker, 79, 2865 W. Mason Road, was northbound on South Main Avenue at Court Street when her car went off the roadway and hit a concrete barrier. According to Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services records, medics were called to the scene at 6:35 p.m. According to her obituary, Kloeker died at 7:12 p.m. in the emergency room at Wilson Memorial Hospital.


Police Chief Will Balling said the accident happened when Kloeker experienced a medical problem, but the crash was not the cause of her death.


• Jenifer Davis, 19, 778 Johnston Drive, was cited with failure to control after an accident March 5 at 10:20 a.m.


Davis was southbound in the 800 block of South Miami Avenue when she lost control of the pickup truck she was driving as the street curved to the right. The truck slid off the left side of the street, went over the curb, and hit a cement wall.


• Amaddji Ba, 39, 744 Countryside Lane, Apt. 11, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Thursday at 9:42 p.m.


Ba was southbound on Fourth Avenue and struck in the rear a car that was stopped for a red traffic light at Park Street. The driver of the other auto was Jada Divens, 23, 234 W. Court St. Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services took Divens to Wilson Memorial Hospital. She had possible injuries.


• An accident that occurred Feb. 18 at 12:30 a.m. was reported to police Friday.


Kathy A. Fleming, 51, 330 Maple St., was northbound on Fourth Avenue, approaching Michigan Street. She turned eastbound onto Michigan and her auto hit a pothole, causing damage to her car.


• Joyce Leiss, 60, 218 Royan Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Friday at 9:52 p.m.


Leiss was eastbound on Fair Road and turned left onto Campbell Road. While making the turn, the Leiss auto hit a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle was owned by Candiss Lucas, 551 Fair Road.


• Charles L. Langston, 55, of Troy, was cited with improper backing after an accident Saturday at 8:51 a.m.


Langston was backing from a parking space in the 100 block of West Poplar Street and hit a car parked across the street. The owner of the parked car was Sarah Barr, 1309 Hickory Court.


• Jane E. Gephart, 59, 10643 Stangel Road, was cited with improper backing after an accident Friday at 1:42 p.m.


Gephart backed from a parking space in the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue and her pickup truck hit a car that was stopped in traffic. The driver of the car was Christopher R. Schmidt, 46, of Lima.

-1:12 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 1000 block of Fair Road.


-1:09 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 300 block of New Street.


-12:52 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 1500 block of Michigan Street.


-11:34 a.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 1300 block of Maple Leaf Court.


-9:18 a.m.: paint spill. Firefighters were called to the area of Beck Drive and Russell Road, where they cleaned up spilled paint.


-6:49 p.m.: injury. Medics were called to the 700 block of Fulton Street.

-4:35 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 800 block of St. Marys Avenue.


-2:08 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 2300 block of Collins Avenue.


-1:39 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 1300 block of Garfield Avenue.


-12:38 p.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 500 block of Kossuth Street.


-10:48 a.m.: medical. Medics were called to the 900 block of Campbell Road.
