SIDNEY — Cricket Wireless recently celebrated the official opening of its first authorized retail store in Sidney.

The store, at 1542 W. Michigan St., is designed to enhance and simplify wireless consumers’ shopping experience by allowing them to easily navigate Cricket’s vast product offerings and affordable monthly plans.

“We are excited to have a presence in Sidney and to bring value-conscious shoppers a first-class wireless experience with no annual contract,” said Antwone Williams, director of sales for Cricket Wireless. “Customers want the latest apps, services, devices and accessories to mirror their mobile lifestyles. We believe prepaid wireless is the smart choice and Cricket is the best choice to meet those needs.”

When customers stop by, they can check out Cricket’s no-annual contract with plans starting at $30 per month with monthly taxes and fees included. Customers can use their own devices or take advantage of Cricket’s deals on smartphones from Samsung, HTC, Motorola, ZTE and more.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
