DAYTON — Haven Behavioral Hospital, 1 Elizabeth Place, Dayton, has announced the expansion of behavioral health services offered to the community.

Haven will continue to provide its specialized inpatient geriatric psychiatric services and, this summer, will add inpatient services for younger adults.

“We are committed to meeting the mental health needs of our community. Our inpatient geriatric program has been a preferred provider in the area since 2012, and we are looking forward to serving a younger population of patients with our expansion,” said Kimberly Gilbert, chief executive officer. “This historically underserved population will benefit from individualized treatment planning and specialty programming that Haven will now offer.”

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton currently provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to older adults experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or psychosis. For information, call 937-234-0100.
