FRIDAY

-1:08 a.m.: unnecessary noise. Police charged Goldie Gariety, 48, 607 N. Main Ave., with an unnecessary noise violation.

THURSDAY

-12:21 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Bonnie Loraine, 72, 10673 Schenk Road, for OVI in the area of 401 Lester Ave.

-12 p.m.: assault. An altercation occurred at 125 W. Court St., in which a suspect attempted to take a vehicle belonging to James Manuel, 62, of Dayton. The suspect was also accused of assaulting Jermaine Darty, 40, 208 Dallas St., and inflicting a head laceration.

-11:10 a.m.: protection order violation. Jessica Stayton, 38, of Dayton, reported she received a text message from her ex.

-10:43 a.m.: burglary. Rocky Stone, 35, 225 Queen St., reported copper pipe, a washer and dryer set, and a central air conditioner unit was taken from the residence without permission.

-8:44 a.m.: receiving stolen property. A stolen vehicle registration expiration sticker was located in the area of Piper Street at St. Marys Road.

-1:27 a.m.: misuse of credit card. Victoria Berger, 64, 868 Doorly Road, reported someone used her credit card to charge $78 on a Paypal account. She advised she didn’t know who or how they got her credit card number; she uses her card in several different places in and out of Sidney.

-1:25 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dustin Hawkins, 32, 1757 Fair Oaks Drive, on a warrant and transported him to jail.

WEDNESDAY

-8:40 a.m.: criminal mischief. Toni Nelson, 40, 721 Johnston Drive, reported the damage of Christmas lawn decorations. It was also listed as a juvenile complaint, according to the incident report.

-4:34 a.m.: protection order violation. Brice Johnson, 27, 126 Piper St., reported the violation of a protection order.

-3:56 a.m.: robbery. Heather Lloyd, 30, 114 E. Clay St., reported a robbery of $40 in cash in the area of 219 E. Water St.

Accidents

Tracy Greene, 32, 410 N. Miami Ave., was cited for right of way at private driveway after an accident on Wednesday at 4:55 p.m.

Greene was exiting the parking lot at 300 E. Parkwood St., turning eastbound on East Parkwood Street, when she struck a vehicle that was traveling in that same direction. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

The driver of the other vehicle was Courtney Stearns, 27, 13079 Luthman Road, Minster.

• David Frick, 66. 215 Charles Ave., was cited for improper lane change after an accident on Wednesday at 2:18 p.m.

Frick was traveling northbound in the 100 block of North Main Avenue when he attempted to change lanes and failed to see a vehicle in the right lane of travel next to him, striking it.

The driver of the other vehicle was Aubrey Schulze, 17, 884 Crescent Drive.

Fire rescue

FRIDAY

-6:37 a.m. to 12:23 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

-1:22 a.m.: Crews responded to the 300 block of West Russell Road for a fire alarm. A faulty duct detector caused the false alarm.

THURSDAY

-9:12 to 11:39 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

-8:57 p.m.: Crews responded to the 500 block of Buckeye Avenue for a fire alarm. A false alarm was confirmed.

-9:28 a.m. to 7:56 p.m.: Medics responded to seven calls.
