TUESDAY

-2:56 p.m.: larceny. Deputies are investigating the misuse of a debit card. Renee L. Cooper, 8240 State Route 66, Fort Loramie, said her bank called about a $100 charge that was made on her debit card in Hermitade, Tennessee.

-1:48 p.m.: larceny. Deputies are investigating the theft of a credit card at 21710 LeFevre Road in Salem Township.

-1:16 p.m.: larceny. Deputies are investigating a report of credit card fraud at 6676 Main Street in Perry Township.

-12:36 p.m.: larceny. Deputies are investigating fraudulent charges on a debit card at 2107 Kaiser Road in Cynthian Township.

-Noon: larceny. Deputies are investigating a case of ID theft at 10041 Stangle Road in Washington Township.

MONDAY

-4:47 p.m.: theft without consent. Deputies are investigating a report of identity theft. Joshua M. Russell, 21777 Dingman Slagle Road in Perry Township, reported someone set up a TMobile account in his name and has an unpaid bill of more than $2,000 on the account.

SATURDAY

-4:07 p.m.: misuse of a credit card. Theresa S. Langenkamp, 8081 State Route 47, Sidney, reported someone in Hillsboro, Florida, used her credit card. She informed her bank and is replacing her credit card.

-12:31 p.m.: theft without consent. Mitchel I. McMaken, Bradford, someone took a wooden box and games from his vehicle while it was parked at 109 Highland Drive, Russia. The items were valued at $140.

-11:45 a.m.: theft without consent. Taylor C. Saintignon, 238 Elizabeth Drive, Russia, reported someone entered her vehicle and took $40 in cash.

-10:36 a.m.: breaking and entering. Matthew R. Barhorst, 106 Lynn St., Russia, reported someone entered his garage and vehicle overnight. The person watched television in the garage, at pizza from the freezer, which were warmed in the microwave in the garage. Chips, water, pop and powerade were also eaten.

-10:01 a.m.: theft without consent. Jace C. Grogean, 223 W. Main St., Russia, reported someone entered his vehicle overnight and took around $20. A lockbox was also damaged.

-10 a.m.: breaking and entering. Spence Cordonnier, 225 W. Main St., Russia, reported someone broke into his garage overnight. Two vehicles were also entered. Nothing was taken.

-9:35 a.m.: criminal damaging. Arielle Thompson, Fairfield, reported her vehicle was vandalized while it was parked at 224 Elizabeth St., Russia.

-9:26 a.m.: theft without consent. Logan J. Neargarder, 230 W. Main St., Russia, and Sara Bostick, of Springfield, reported their vehicles were entered overnight. More than $250 was taken from the vehicles.

-9:25 a.m.: criminal mischief. Vernon C. Rosenbeck, 108 Highland Drive, Russia, reported his vehicle was entered overnight. Nothing was taken.

-9:22 a.m.: theft without consent. Bradley A. McMaken and Emily Roberts, 242 Elizabeth St., Russia, reported their vehicles were broken into overnight. Money, makeup and lotions were taken from the vehicles.

-9:22 a.m.: criminal mischief. Megan S. Aselage, 116 E. Main St., Russia, reported her vehicle was entered overnight. Nothing was taken.

-8:51 a.m.: criminal mischief. Kenny Roberts, 118 E. Main St., Russia, reported he found an open pocketknife under the rear tire of his vehicle. The knife was propped up with the blade resting on the tire. If the vehicle had been backed up, the knife would have damaged the tire.

-6:45 a.m.: breaking and entering. Ryan A. Yingst, 104 North St., Russia, reported someone entered his garage overnight. The vehicles were also entered and change and a folder with coupons, receipts and gift cards were taken.

FRIDAY

-9:11 p.m.: criminal damaging. Kathy E. Whitehead, 410 Second St., Sidney, reported someone vandalized her vehicle while it was parked at 10969 Commanche Drive, Sidney. Whitehead told deputies she saw someone take off running from the vehicle. Deputies found footprints on the hood of the vehicle and the top was dented in.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-9:57 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 18000 block of state Route 65.

TUESDAY

-9:19 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 100 block of Redbud Circle.

-8:59 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue and deputies responded to the 2000 block of Lindsey Road.

-4:02 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 600 block of Tacoma Trail.

-11:31 a.m.: fire. Fort Loramie Fire was dispatched to a truck on fire in the parking lot of Roe Transportation, 3680 Michigan St. in Turtle Creek Township.

-11:09 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 600 block of North Pike Street in Anna.

-8:53 a.m.: medical. Anna rescue was dispatched to the 200 block of Sapphire Court in Anna.

MONDAY

-6:33 p.m.: fire alarm. Lockington Fire was dispatched to Clear Creek Farms, 1886 Kuther Road on a report of fire alarm.

-6 p.m.: accident with injuries. Fort Loramie Fire and Houston Rescue were dispatched to an accident with injuries at Beulah Drive and Lindsey Road in Turtle Creek Township.

-3:44 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to the 100 block of Warren Street in Botkins.

-3:28 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to the 5000 block of Houston Road in Loramie Township.

-4:33 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 10000 block of Thompson-Schiff Road.

-12:36 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 700 block of Winding-Ridge Lane.

SUNDAY

-5:41 p.m.: fire. Jackson Center Fire Department responded to the 18000 block of Metz Road for a smoke alarm.

Accidents

Charity M. Smith, 71, 211 South St., Quincy, was transported to Wilson Hospital by Houston Rescue following a one-vehicle crash Monday at 6 p.m.

Smith was northbound on Lindsey Road when the front right tire caught the edge of the roadway, pulling the vehicle into the ditch.

• Mark Counts, 51, 8926 State Route 274, Kettlersville, was traveling in the 12000 block of state Route 362 when he veered off the road and struck a tree on Sunday at 9:08 p.m.

According to accident reports, Counts was unconscious when the call came in about the accident, but was awake and speaking with members of the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad when deputies arrived. There were two witnesses that saw Counts driving the vehicle. According to the report, when deputies asked him for his license, he had a difficult time getting it out of his wallet, and fumbled giving them his phone number. When asked if he had been drinking he said he had four or five beers.

• Karl E. Puthoff, 67, 7345 Cecil Road, Sidney, was westbound on state Route 47 when he pulled over to the right side of the road and yielded for an ambulance which was responding with lights and sirens. Richard L. Richards, 81, 25 Greenback Road, Fort Loramie, was also westbound on state Route 47. He didn’t see the stopped vehicle in front of him and struck the rear of the vehicle.

Richards’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Puthoff’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

• Sean C. Yeager, 28, 844 Merri Lane, Sidney, was northbound on Baker Road near Herring Road. He attempted to make a left, eastbound turn from Baker onto Herring Road. The vehicle rode over some gravel which caused the front wheel to slide out from under his motorcycle. The vehicle went down on its right side causing minor damage.

• Jacob Maurice Cline, 22, 311 Lunar Drive, Sidney, was eastbound in the 9000 block of Russell Road Saturday at 10:14 a.m. when he swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle went off the southside of the road. The vehicle came back onto the road, crossing the center line. It went off the northside of the road and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Alec J. Huecker, 21, 08151 State Route 66, New Bremen, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, which occurred Saturday at 4:04 a.m.

Huecker was eastbound on Lock Two Road in Auglaize County. He failed to maneuver a curve to the left and traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck a ditch and continued eastbound.

The vehicle struck another ditch at the East Shelby Road intersection and traveled across the road and crossed into Shelby County. The vehicle then went off the left side of the road. The vehicle struck and broke off a posted street sign.

The driver fled the scene without reporting the accident. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

• Timmie Ray Young, 55, 7488 Stoker Road, Sidney, was westbound on Stoker Road Friday at 9:29 p.m. He said a deer entered the roadway and he swerved to miss hitting the deer. The vehicle went off the left side of the road and became lodged between two trees. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
