-12:59 a.m.: theft. Lillian Shoe, 338 Linden Ave., reported a Playstation game system and four games, valued at $599, were stolen from her residence.

MONDAY

-2:18 p.m.: theft. Nathen McConahea, 121 W. Poplar St., Apt. 208, reported two video game systems, a game, and fishing tackle box, valued at $415, and $80 in cash were stolen from his residence.

-11:26 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dylan J. Coverstone, 21, 2018 Old English Court, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-11:04 a.m.: criminal damaging. Sam Reynolds Jr., 1331 Park St., reported someone scratched his vehicle at his residence. Loss was $220.

-8:57 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Stacey Schaffner, 38, 228 1/2 N. Main Ave., on a warrant.

-8:20 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Brandon K. Matthieu, 26, 8345 Port Haven Drive, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-8:11 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 222 S. Main Ave.

-7:19 a.m.: burglary. Tommy Webb, 733 N. Main Ave., reported a TV, valued at $1,500, was stolen from his residence.

-2:22 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Shawn L. Gessler, 43, 84 Brooklyn Ave., in the 900 block of Court Street on a charge of driving under the influence.

SUNDAY

-10:57 p.m.: aggravated menacing. Personnel at the Comfort Inn reported a person made threats toward her and the business.

-10:09 p.m.: burglary. Christine Harris, 824 Park St., Apt. B, reported someone entered her residence and stole three Xbox games, jewelry and a gallon of milk, valued at $42.49, and $20 in cash.

-7:21 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Billy L. Napier, 42, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, at 960 N. Vandemark Road on a charge of driving under the influence.

-5:06 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Gary E. Short, 41, and Kerrie N. Short, 36, 632 Folkerth Ave., Lot 10, on a warrant and turned them over to Miami County authorities.

-10:37 a.m.: theft. Barbara Bollinger, 1220 Morris Ave., reported $1,400 cash; a wedding band, valued at $500; and a partial denture, valued at $10, were stolen from her residence.

-2:38 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A man reported a juvenile left the residence without permission.

-1:50 a.m.: theft. George Hesser, 204 Forest St., reported the tailgate, valued at $175, was stolen from his truck at his residence.

SATURDAY

-5:08 p.m.: theft. Shelbi Nation, of Celina, reported a wallet, valued at $10, was stolen from her vehicle at 110 E. Poplar St.

-10:25 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 408 Doering St.

-10:09 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 304 S. West Ave.

-8:30 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 2515 Broadway Ave.

-12:44 a.m.: aggravated menacing and warrant. Police arrested Darrel W. Allen, 30. He allegedly threatened David Temple and his customers at the Dawn Pound Lounge.

FRIDAY

-8:53 p.m.: property found. A set of keys was given to police.

-7:34 p.m.: contempt and possession of drugs. Police arrested Greg E. Johnson Jr., 26, at large, on a warrant. He allegedly had a packet containing suspected heroin.

-3:41 p.m.: property found. A bicycle was found at 304 S. West Ave. and placed in the city garage.

-11:41 a.m.: criminal trespass. Police arrested Freddy Buss Jr., 26, on a charge of criminal trespassing. A police officer saw Buss allegedly trying to hide behind a tree. He then went into the backyard of a residence. He allegedly trespassed on the property of Charles Bryan, 405 1/2 S. Miami Ave.

-8:55 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Kenneth M. Heath II, 37, on a warrant.

-7:48 a.m.: criminal damaging. Dennis Henderson, 920 N. Miami Ave., reported someone used a key to scratch his vehicle at his residence. Loss was $200.

THURSDAY

-10:56 p.m.: felonious assault. Travis Brown, 323 Franklin Ave., reported he was assaulted in the 100 block of North Ohio Avenue.

-11:57 a.m.: theft. Personnel at Menards reported a man concealed two air nailers on himself and left without paying for them. They were valued at $299 each.

-9:12 a.m.: vandalism. Personnel at A.G. Trucking 798 S. Vandemark Road, reported someone vandalized five tankers on the lot. Loss was $10,000 for cleanup expenses and $117,400 from the loss of 6,000 gallons of olive oil. The olive oil was owned by Johnsrud Transportation, of Des Moines, Iowa.

Accidents

Dennis L. Faulder, 68, 107 Shelby St., was cited with with a turning violation after an accident Friday at 2:30 p.m.

Faulder was southbound in the right lane of Ohio Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Court Street. He struck a pickup driven southbound in the left lane by David S. Jones, 49, 4255 County Road 254A.

• Vincent Devenport, 47, of Piqua, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Friday at 5:20 p.m.

Devenport was southbound on the Interstate 75 off ramp at Fair Road and hit the rear of a car that was stopped on the ramp. The driver of the other auto was David Goff, 41, 215 Robb St., Apt. A, Jackson Center.

• Katherine Hinkle, 18, 1445 Broadway Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Sunday at 3:19 a.m.

Hinkle was northbound in the 900 block of North Main Avenue and fell asleep. Her car drifted to the right and hit the parked auto of Jennifer Layman, 617 Campbell Road. Hinkle had nonincapacitating injuries. The Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services responded, but did not transport Hinkle.

• Irene Jacobs, 33, 1011 Broadway Ave., was cited with improper backing and driving under suspension after an accident Saturday at 1:57 p.m. on Pike Street.

Jacobs was westbound on Pike and stopped at St. Marys Avenue. She backed up to allow a semi rig to turn onto Pike from St. Marys. The Jacobs auto hit a pickup truck that had stopped behind her. The driver of the pickup truck was Michael C. Bunker, 67, 1901 Fair Road.

• Charles F. Hewitt, 68, 122 N. Main Ave., was cited with failure to yield the right of way after an accident Friday at 9:30 a.m.

Hewitt was northbound in an alley and pulled into the 200 block of East North Street. His car collided with an eastbound car driven by Sharon Jung, 52, 1311 Rutledge St.

• An accident occurred Sunday at 5:23 p.m. in the 500 block of South Highland Avenue.

Silva Sowders, 59, 1617 Willow Place, was northbound on Highland and attempted to pass two parked vehicles. As she did, her auto struck the side of a southbound pickup truck driven by Franklin Favors, 58, 231 N. Pomeroy Ave. Because of the narrow roadway and no marked center lines, police did not cite anyone in the crash.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:49 p.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 3066 Bridlewood Drive. An alarm had malfunctioned.

-12:47 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 2400 Michigan St. It was a false alarm.

-12:21 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.: Medics responded to 10 calls.

MONDAY

—6:27 a.m. to 5:25 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

SUNDAY

-4:07 p.m.: fuel spill. Firefighters were called to a fuel spill at 2110 Michigan St.

-11:23 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.
