MONDAY

-8:37 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to 200 block of Robb Street in Jackson Township on the report of a child given a brownie with something suspicious looking in it.

-7:40 p.m.: loud music. Deputies were dispatched to 114 Redbud Circle, Unit E, in Jackson Township on the report of loud neighbors.

-6:59 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to 10801 Lochard Road in Salem Township on the report of a questionable sale of a pool table.

-6:13 p.m.: assault. Deputies were dispatched to 1886 Kuther Road in Washington Township on the report of an assault.

-4:15 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 5647 Knoop Johnson Road in Perry Township on the report of a stolen trailer.

-1:06 p.m.: property damage accident. Deputies were dispatched to Miami Shelby Road and state Route 66 in Washington Township on the report of a two-vehicle accident.

-12:58 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to 5810 Houston Road in Loramie Township on the report of a missing handgun.

-12:25 p.m.: vandalism. Deputies were dispatched to 21783 Maplewood Road in Salem Township on the report of damage to a rental property.

-1:38 a.m.: burglary. Deputies were dispatched to 9604 Fessler Buxton Road in Washington Township on the report of a burglary.

SATURDAY

-5:40 a.m.: domestic violence. Eric Bent, Candler, North Carolina, was charged with domestic violence – knowingly causing harm to another following an incident at the Shelby County Fairgrounds. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail.

FRIDAY

-4 p.m.: criminal mischief. Robin Woods, 1340 Grove St., Sidney, reported windows and doors were broken at 979 State Route 589, Conover, sometime in the past few days. The glass in two French doors, two screen doors, four windows of the garage door and one window in the garage were all broken.

MONDAY

-1:38 p.m.: suspicious person. Fort Loramie Police and Deputies were dispatched to Meyer’s Garage and Drive-Thru on state Route 66 in Cynthian Township on the report of a person who tried to pay with several cards that didn’t go through.

TUESDAY

-12:58 p.m.: vandalism. Jackson Center Police were dispatched to 401 N. Main St. in Jackson Township on the report a mailbox was taken.

-9:29 a.m.: property damage accident. Jackson Center Police were dispatched to Plastipak Packaging on Washington Street in Jackson Township on the report an accident in the parking lot.

Accidents

No citations were issued following an accident in the Wendy’s parking lot, 104 Commerce Drive, Anna Sunday at 12:53 p.m.

Cheryl K. Stavrides, 66, Vandalia, told deputies she pulled into Wendy’s because she missed the Interstate 75 entrance ramp and was turning around. As she was backing up, she didn’t see a vehicle driven by Lisa Ciaravino, 46, Milan, Michigan, who was behind her.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Deputies told Stavrides she was at fault for the accident but no citation would be issued.

• Tony M. Albers, 38, 14777 State Route 29, Anna, was cited for failure to yield while turning left following a two-vehicle accident Sunday at 7:48 a.m.

Albers was southbound on state Route 29 when he slowed to turn onto state Route 119. A vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Schneider, 26, St. Henry, was northbound at the time and approaching the same intersection.

Albers turned east into the path of Schneider’s vehicle, causing a collision.

Albers and Schneider were transported to Wilson Hospital by Anna Rescue.

Both vehicles were disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

• A one-vehicle accident caused damage to a property on Cisco Road Sunday at 6:58 a.m.

According to the report, the vehicle was going east on Cisco Road and was going through the curves in the 9000 block. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and went into the back yard at the residence of Jeffrey E. Luke, 9630 Cisco Road. The vehicle struck a tree and then struck the corner of the house.

The vehicle was wedged between the house and a tree. No driver was found in the vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle, David Stewart Spangler, 535 W. Parkwood St., Sidney, reported to the Sidney Police Department that his vehicle had been stolen. The vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

• Gregory S.A. Hickerson, 26, Greenville, was charged with driving while under the influence following a one-vehicle accident Friday at 8:17 p.m.

Hickerson was northbound on Simon Road and had traveled across a railroad track crossing. He attempted a left hand turn onto Russia Versailles Road at the T-intersection. He was traveling too fast for the turn and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle left the south side of Russia Versailles Road causing it to flip onto its top, coming to rest on the grassy roadside.

The vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

• Elizabeth Marie Bensman, 21, of Conover, was transported to Wilson Hospital following a one-vehicle accident Friday at 5:48 p.m.
Bensman was traveling north of River Road when she failed to negotiate a curve due to speed and road conditions. The vehicle went off the east side of the road, striking a guardrail. The vehicle continued on top of the guardrail striking a mailbox and into a power pole.
The vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

-12:03 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 100 block of Diamond Drive.

-9:38 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to Auglaize County.

-8:16 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 600 block of Cross Trail in Washington Township.

-7:36 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 600 block of East College Street in Jackson Township.

MONDAY

-11:56 p.m.: mutual aid. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to Auglaize County.

-9:10 p.m.: fire. Jackson Center Fire Department was dispatched to 300 Clay St. in Jackson Township.

-4:58 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 300 block of Clay St. in Jackson Township.

-3:02 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 300 block of South Mill Street in Dinsmore Township.

-1:46 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to the 10000 block of Mason Road in Turtle Creek Township.

-1:12 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue and Minster Life Squad responded to the 10000 block of Luthman Road.

-11:55 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Police responded to the 300 block of Mill Street in Dinsmore Township.

-8:19 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 12000 block of Meranda Road in Franklin Township.

-2:56 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue and Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Patterson Halpin Road in Turtle Creek Township.

SUNDAY

-6:36 p.m.: fire. Botkins Fire Department was dispatched to 11462 Lock Two Road in Dinsmore Township on the report of a field fire behind the home.
