TUESDAY

-1:38 a.m.: theft. Police arrested Tariq Vining, 18, 131 Oldham Ave., on a theft charge. He allegedly stole ice cream and $17.15 cash from Chilly Jillys, 401 S. Ohio Ave.

MONDAY

-4:41 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Phillip L. Murray, 23, 508 S. Miami Ave., on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-1:06 p.m.: property found. A TV was found in a yard at 309 Monroe St.

-10:17 a.m.: breaking and entering. Personnel at LeRoi, 211 E. Russell Road, reported two cordless drills and brass tubing, valued at $308, were stolen from the business. Also stolen were two chainsaws, valued at $200, and owned by James E. Stephens, 13310 White Feather Trail, Anna, and prescription medication, valued at $40, and the property of Robert J. Oliver, of West Liberty.

-10:16 a.m.: property found. A bicycle found at 622 Fielding Road was placed in the police garage.

-10:14 a.m.: property lost. James Hamilton, 2400 Wapakoneta Ave., reported his son lost a Nintendo game system in the area of his residence.

-4:33 a.m.: burglary. Brittany Jones, 232 Franklin Ave., reported someone removed the air conditioner from a window at her residence. Loss was $115.

SUNDAY

-7:10 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Jessica Work, 29, 230 Jefferson St., Apt. 20, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-4:41 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Michael H. Walker, 53, 500 N. Vandemark Road, Apt. 25, in the 500 block of North Vandemark Road on a charge of driving under the influence.

SATURDAY

-11:22 p.m.: assault. Heather West, 2443 Wapakoneta Ave., reported someone assaulted her at her residence.

-10:07 p.m.: assault. Police arrested Randy Clemons, 56, 318 Washington St., on an assault charge. He allegedly assaulted Jeffery Fortman, 213 Hall Ave.

-5:49 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Justin Detty, 32, of Wapakoneta, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-1:42 p.m.: misuse of card. William Wiseman, 989 Buckeye Ave., reported someone used his debit card without his permission.

-12:28 p.m.: theft. Barbara Strunk, 1314 Campbell Road, reported a cooler with money inside it was stolen from her vehicle at her residence. Loss was $150.

-10:54 a.m.: theft. Police arrested Miranda Rivera, 21, 824 Park St., Apt. A, on a theft charge. She allegedly stole seven packages of meat, valued at $84.49, from Sidney Food Town.

-7 a.m.: criminal damaging. A sidewalk at Shelby Metropolitan Housing, 706 N. Wagner Ave., was damaged. Loss was $1,500.

-1:55 a.m.: underage consumption of beer. Police arrested a 17-year-old boy in the 700 block of North West Avenue for alleged underage consumption of beer.

-1 a.m.: breaking and entering. Agape Distribution, 209 Brooklyn Ave., was forcibly entered. A door was damaged, causing a $400 loss.

FRIDAY

-11:54 p.m.: violating protection order. Police arrested Trenton Stearns, 27, 511 S. Wagner Ave., on a charge of violating a protection order. The victim was Courtney Stearns.

-9:04 p.m.: pandering obscenity. Police investigated a complaint concerning obscenity and an unruly juvenile.

-5:43 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police found a prescription pill on a person arrested in the area of Fulton Street and Brooklyn Avenue.

Accidents

Brittany L. Dankworth, 25, 111 S. Wilkinson Ave., was cited with improper backing after an accident Saturday at 8:56 a.m.

Dankworth backed from a driveway at 330 Sycamore Ave. and hit a pickup truck that was parked across the street. The owner of the parked vehicle was John Kraus Jr., 329 Sycamore Ave.

• A bicyclist was injured when he collided with a person who had run into the street Aug. 5 at 8:36 p.m.

Ryan Jacob, 23, 1917 Burkewood Drive, told police he was riding a bike southbound in the 700 block of Broadway Avenue and noticed three people playing football in the roadway on the west side of the street. One of the boys stepped in front of Jacob to catch a pass and the bike hit him. Jacob said he rolled to the left and hit the ground. He came off the bike and slid. He was wearing helmet, which hit the pavement. Jacob suffered cuts and scrapes. He called police the next day to report he had been to the hospital and learned he had a fractured hip. The person the bike hit, Keshon Johnson, 16, 302 Sophia Ave., was not hurt.

• Jennifer K. Brown, 34, 830 Mount Vernon Place, was cited with failure to control after an accident Monday at 4:39 p.m.

Brown was southbound in the 200 block of North Ohio Avenue behind a car driven by Deborah S. Patterson, 50, 406 Karen Ave. Patterson attempted to pull into a parking space. Brown attempted to pass on the left and hit the Patterson auto.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-7:55 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 821 S. Vandemark Road by a fire alarm. There was no problem. The alarm was being tested.

-6:16 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to 805 Arrowhead Drive on a report of a structure fire. A fire on a stovetop was out on their arrival.

-2:53 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-1:19 a.m. to 11:48 p.m.: Medics responded to 10 calls.

SUNDAY

-12:33 to 6:47 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

-11:56 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to 3000 N. Cisco Road to extinguish a small mulch fire.
