THURSDAY

-2:50 p.m.: criminal damaging. It was reported an unknown person cut down a memorial tree at 1000 Whipp Road.

-10:47 a.m.: obstructing justice. Angela Meyers, 41, 225 E. Clay St., was given a summons for obstructing justice.

WEDNESDAY

-3:36 p.m.: theft. Allen Marvin, 55, 314 N. Ohio Ave., Apt. 2, reported someone he knows stole $45 from his wallet

Crashes

No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 5:02 p.m.

Kayla Gates, 18, 1033 Juniper Way, was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 at the Intestate 75 intersection when another vehicle turned left in front of her that was attempting to turn onto the I-75 southbound on ramp from state Route 47. Gates told police she entered the intersection on a yellow light. Gayle Arnett, 47, of Troy, told police she was attempting to turn left onto the I-75 on ramp from state Route 47 when the light turned red. She said she was in the middle of the intersection on the red light when she turned and that Gates ran the red light and struck her vehicle.

• No one was cited following a crash on Wednesday at 12:17 p.m.

Shaelyn Goubeaux, 18, of Russia, was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 and was making a left turn onto Vandemark Road. Jodi Siegel, 47, of Fort Loramie, was traveling westbound on state Route 47 and struck Goubeaux’s vehicle when she was turning in the intersection of Michigan Street and Vandemark Road.

Both drivers told police they had a green light/green arrow. A witness was unable to provide information about who had the right of way due to her position, so no citations were issued.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-6:30 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to confirm a false fire alarm.

-2:18 to 3:20 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

THURSDAY

-3:42 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to the report of an automobile crash.

-11:22 a.m.: to 9:46 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to nine calls.

-8:30 a.m.: lines down. Firefighters responded to the report of lines down.
