WEDNESDAY

-7:29 p.m.: theft. Matt Denise, 41, 551 Campbell Road, reported someone took a UPS box from his front porch containing miscellaneous firearm cleaning parts.

-4:33 p.m.: warrant. J.P. King, 42, St. Paris, was arrested on a warrant.

-3:15 p.m.: theft. Jeremy Cook, 37, 902 McKinley Ave., reported a Mongoose bike was stolen from the backyard.

-1:16 p.m.: theft. Alsonso Macias Jr., 19, 228 E. Bennett St., reported the theft of $300. Macias told police an individual filed his taxes and he believes she had the tax money deposited into her personal account.

-12:25 p.m.: found property. An Ohio ID belonging to Gary Pothuiseje, 44, of Sidney, was found at Sidney-Shelby County YMCA on East Parkwood Street and was turned into the police department.

-12:10 p.m.: theft. Joanna Sprague, 63, 632 Folkerth Ave., Apt. 40, reported someone entered her husband’s unlocked vehicle parked in front of the residence and took a small Tupperware container and $2 in change.

-10:02 a.m.: breaking and entering. Boedigheimer DDS on North Main Avenue reported an attempted breaking and entering and damage to a back metal door.

-8:23 a.m.: warrant. Brandon Yantis, 30, 983 Buckeye Ave., was arrested on a warrant.

-7:07 a.m.: theft. Ronald Wenrick, 58, 632 Folkerth Ave., Apt. 59, reported the theft of $14 from his vehicle at his residence.

TUESDAY

-5:34 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported a past theft of two Nintendo controllers and a five-gauge amp kit.

-5:18 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 13-year-old male was charged for unruly juvenile.

-3:43 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Peggy Dwyer, 59, 212 Doorley Road, of the theft of a credit card and $235.

Crashes

Patricia Aviles, 67, 630 Second Ave., was cited with right of way after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 2:13 p.m.

Aviles was exiting an alley from the west and was attempting to turn southbound in the 200 block of Ohio Avenue when she failed to see and struck the left rear side of the southbound vehicle on Ohio Avenue driven by Dennis Shropshire, 60, 2901 Mason Road.

THURSDAY

-12:49 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to a call.

WEDNESDAY

-11:01 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-3:23 to 11:17 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.
