MONDAY

-11:34 p.m.: theft. A warrant has been issued after Walmart on Michigan Street reported someone stole a pair of shoes, a Verizon cellphone, a HIGHWIRE portable blue tooth speaker and a Stanley box cutter.

-6:59 p.m.: domestic violence. Nicholas Subler, 69, 928 McKinley Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-4:38 p.m.: theft. Linda Cory, 63, 612 Chestnut Ave., reported the theft of miscellaneous jewelry.

-1:10 p.m.: warrant. Harold Engley III, 39, 505 ½ S. Main Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

-11:39 a.m.: railroad criminal trespass. A 16-year-old was arrested for trespassing on the railroad tracks on North Pomeroy Avenue.

-8:30 a.m.: warrant. Aaron Singer, 32, Wapakoneta, was arrested on a warrant.

SUNDAY

-9:44 p.m.: criminal trespass. Mindy Fleming, 21, at large, and Devin Fleming, 30, at large, were arrested for criminal trespass.

-9:17 p.m.: drug abuse. Alfonso Macias, 19, 311 N. Ohio Ave., was arrested for drug abuse after a baggy of marijuana was found during a traffic stop.

SATURDAY

-10:04 a.m.: criminal damaging. Enon Holdings Rental Car, Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported the windshield on a 2017 Dodge rental vehicle had been damaged in the parking lot of 2615 Campbell Road. The rental car employee said when he parked the car, it had no damages, but when he came back out he noticed the damaged windshield.

-7:17 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jeffery Leffel, 61, 119 Mound St., reported someone he knows damaged his outdoor carpet.

FRIDAY

-11:10 p.m.: warrant. Jeremy Couchot, 34, at large, and Megan Caskey, 27, at large, were arrested on active warrants.

-10:09 p.m.: theft. Jedidiah Linniman, 37, 314 Oak Ave., reported someone broke into his home and stole a Springfield Armory 9mm pistol, a Glock 10mm pistol extended magazine and a Kydex holster.

-9:37 p.m.: criminal damaging. A 12-year-old female was charged with criminal damaging after it was reported she destroyed a ZTE Qlink cellphone.

-3:34 a.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of $441.41 in merchandise.

July 19

-6:24 p.m.: burglary. Darren Clark, 47, 10490 Cisco Road, reported a forced entry into his vacant house at 408 W. North St., in which the entry door and 10 miscellaneous personal photographs were damaged. A police investigation continues.

-12:15 p.m.: theft. Robert Johnson, 61, 320 S. Highland Ave., reported someone he knows took three of his rings, valued at $578, and pawned them at Cashland.

July 17

-5:05 p.m.: theft. A 2010 Honda motorcycle owned by Michael Whitacre, 69, 1882 Shawnee Drive, was reported stolen from the 200 block of South Miami Avenue.

Crashes

Marissa Baker, 23, 1308 Hancock Ave., was cited with right of way turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:43 p.m.

Baker was westbound on Michigan Street and was attempting to make a left hand turn from the turn lane when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle in the far right lane on Michigan Street that was driven by Kelsey Kleinknopf, 24, 821 Arrowhead Drive.

• Whitney Risner, 25, 11261 Elm St., was cited with reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 5:50 a.m.

Risner was traveling eastbound on Court Street approaching the intersection at Fourth Avenue when the lights at the intersection were flashing red. Another vehicle driven by Crit Williams Jr., 51, 1055 Apple Blossom Lane, was traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue after stopping at the flashing light and was proceeding through the intersection when Risner could not stop and struck the left rear of Williams’ vehicle.

• Paul Meyer, 86, 216 Lyndhurst St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a crash on Friday at 8:39 p.m.

Meyer was traveling southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when he did not stop in time and rear-ended the vehicle in front of him that was making a left hand turn into North Dixie Drive-Thru on Wapakoneta Avenue.

The other vehicle was driven by Timothy Stauffer, 65, 704 Arrowhead Drive.

• John Schmidt, 21, of Piqua, was cited with improper backing after a crash on Friday at noon.

Schmidt was backing out of the driveway of 205 Doorley Road when he struck a parked vehicle on the east side of the roadway that is driven by Patricia Kelly, 66, of Englewood.

• Jessi Salyers, 18, 330 Jefferson St., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 6:50 a.m.

Salyers was traveling eastbound in the right lane on Michigan Street at the Interstate 75 exit ramp when he was struck by the vehicle driven by Angela Kohlreiser, 38, of Wapakoneta, that was making a left turn from I-75 exit ramp south on to Michigan Street into the right lane of travel.

Kohlriesser was also cited with improper left turn.

• Nathanial Craft, 21, 516 N. Ohio Ave., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 4:57 a.m.

Craft was traveling southbound on South Miami Avenue at the intersection of East Court Street when he struck a westbound vehicle on East Court Street that was driven by Ricky White, 24, 1236 Rutledge St.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:43 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-9:38 p.m.: fire. Firefighters investigated an open burn complaint.

-10:48 a.m.: fair detail. Firefighters were at the Shelby County Fair to check fire lanes, fire extinguishers, etc.

6:55 to 8:52 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to two false fire alarms. One was caused by a system malfunction.

-3:34 a.m. to 8:06 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls. One was canceled en route.

SUNDAY

-2:22 to 11:41 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls. One was for mutual aid but was canceled en route.
