FRIDAY

-12:33 a.m.: domestic violence. Justin Sparks, 41, 704 Clinton Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

THURSDAY

-11:34 p.m.: theft. Tiffany Terry, 46, 220 Piper St., reported the theft of a Cricket cellphone at the Wash House laundry mat on East Court Street.

-9:17 p.m.: theft. Christopher Webb, 28, 122 Beech St., reported the theft of a Next mountain bike and a found Murray bicycle at his residence.

-3:03 p.m.: warrant. Chad Johnson, 45, 10977 Commanche Drive, was arrested on a Miami County warrant.

-12:26 p.m.: forgery. Robert Johnson, 39, 320 Highland Ave., was arrested for forgery.

-10:10 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Montana Robbins, 24, 123 S. Walnut Ave., of the theft of her Victoria’s Secret and Kohls credit cards from her residence.

-7:19 a.m.: theft. Emily Richardson, 29, 744 Country Side Lane, Apt. 5, reported the theft of a woman’s wallet from her unlocked vehicle at her residence.

WEDNESDAY

-9:08 a.m.: criminal simulation. Speedway on Michigan Street reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill at the business.

Crashes

Sara Allinger, 83, of Quincy, was cited with starting a backing after a crash on Thursday at 6:26 p.m.

Allinger was backing out of a private drive onto Charles Avenue when she backed into a legally parked vehicle in front of 307 Charles Ave. that is owned by Crown Lift Trucks in Vandalia.

• Michael Clouse, 47, of Piqua, was cited with improper lane change following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 5:28 p.m.

Clouse was traveling southbound on Ohio Avenue in the right lane and when attempting to change into the left lane struck the southbound vehicle in the left lane on Ohio Avenue that was driven by Nicole Meyers, 33, 4606 Hardin Wapak Road.

Clouse was transported by Sidney Fire to Wilson Health.

• Travis Blair, 21, of Piqua, was cited with turning at intersection after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 8:07 a.m.

Blair was traveling eastbound on Court Street and turning northbound onto Main Avenue when he failed to see the westbound vehicle on Court Street and turned into its pathway, causing a collision into the side of Blair’s vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Leslie Penrod, 42, DeGraff.

FRIDAY

-6:49 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

THURSDAY

-8:14 p.m.: stand by. Crews responded to stand by with the police department.

-2:22 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to confirm a false fire alarm.

-2:45 to 9:42 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to four calls.
