THURSDAY

-2:18 p.m.: theft. Deputies and Anna Police responded to Lowe’s Home Improvement on Michigan Street in Clinton Township on the report of a theft.

-1:25 p.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Stephens Road in Clinton Township on the report of a suspicious vehicle.

-10:46 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 1301 Gearhart Road in Orange Township on the report of a scam.

-10:10 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 6805 Canal Street in Cynthian Township on the report of a theft from a checking account.

-9:51 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 17300 Lock Two Road in Jackson Township on the report of a stolen mower.

-12:33 a.m.: suspicious person. Deputies were dispatched to Speedway on Michigan Street in Clinton Township on the report of a suspicious person.

WEDNESDAY

-7:01 p.m.: K-9 person tracking. Deputies responded to Darke County for a K-9 person tracking.

-4:23 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint about a maroon van sitting on Pasco Montra Road at state Route 47 in Salem Township.

-4 p.m.: threats. Deputies were dispatched to Fairlawn High School on Johnston Road on the report of a threat by a parent.

-3:47 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint at 16052 Heiland Kies Road that someone tampered with the caller’s cellphone.

-2:11 p.m.: theft. Jackson Center Police were dispatched to Jackson Center Dentistry on East Pike Street in Jackson Center on the report of a theft.

-1:39 p.m.: vehicle in ditch. Anna Police were dispatched to the 100 mile-marker of Interstate 75 south on the report of a vehicle in the median.

WEDNESDAY

-11:07 p.m.: fight. Anna and Botkins Police were dispatched to the Budget Host Inn on East State Street in Dinsmore Township on the report two females were fighting in a hotel room.

-9:39 p.m.: suspicious car. Fort Loramie Police was dispatched to 241 Grandview Drive in McLean Township on the report somone in a truck took cans out of a recycling bin.

Crashes

Marsha Robert, 50, 217 Brookburn St., was cited with expired plate after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 5:47 p.m.

Kevin May, 52, of Maria Stein, was traveling west on Michigan Street approaching the intersection of Kuther Road when he struck Robert’s southbound vehicle on Kuther Road in the intersection.

Each driver told the responding deputy they had a green light, and therefore, the right of way. According to the sheriff’s report, there were no witnesses to the crash.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-2:11 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded the 14500 block of Harmon Road in Franklin Township.

-1:41 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 12100 block of East Lockington Road in Orange Township.

WEDNESDAY

-3:41 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Police responded to the 400 block of East State Street in Dinsmore Township.
