TUESDAY

-2:06 a.m.: found property. A grey sweatshirt, cellphone charger, set of keys, and wallet containing a U.S. Bank card and an Ohio driver’s licence belonging to Thomas Dustin, 31, at large, were found at Second Avenue and Grove Street and turned into the police department.

MONDAY

-7:20 p.m.: theft. Martin Felver, 39, 401 Highland Ave., reported the theft of a 4-carat diamond ring and a white gold ring.

-11:57 a.m.: criminal damaging. Kendra Chamberlin, 23, 1527 E. Court St., reported a door to the residence and a debit card were damaged. A warrant was issued by police.

-1:56 a.m.: possession of drugs. Albert Taylor, 42, 818 N. Buckeye Ave., was arrested for possessing and trafficking drugs. Amy Lochardm 40, at large, was also arrested for possessing drugs.

-12:49 a.m.: criminal damaging. Heather Ludwig, 29, 525 Jefferson St., reported the rear window of her vehicle was shattered in the 100 block of South Walnut Avenue.

SUNDAY

-9:01 p.m.: driving under suspension. Scott Hudgins, 53, 117 Shelby St., was arrested for driving under suspension.

-8:13 p.m.: open container. Jamaal Poindexter, 34, Troy, was charged with open container.

-4:50 p.m.: criminal damaging. Tammi Risk, 50, 359 Windsor Park, reported one of the tires on his vehicle was slashed and the gas tank area was scratched and damaged.

-2:06 a.m.: warrant. Cody Crumpler, 26, Piqua was arrested on a warrant.

-1:47 a.m.: warrant. Juan Hill, 33, 910 McKinley Ave., was arrested on a warrant out of Indiana.

SATURDAY

-9:26 p.m.: found property. A Kohl’s gift card belonging to Charles Smith, address unknown, was found near 320 E. North St. and was turned into the police department.

-8:34 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Roger Young, 22, and Arthur Bennett, 29, both of 319 ½ S. Wilkinson Ave., were arrested for disorderly conduct after police responded to the report of a disturbance.

-6:06 p.m.: warrant. Jerry Broaddrick, 55, 333 E. North St., Apt. 411, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of Georgia.

-4:36 p.m.: theft. Brian Haney, 20, 925 McKinley Ave., reported the theft of $80 from his vehicle at his residence.

-1:37 p.m.: theft. Lora Reineke, 54, 500 Vandemark Road., Apt. 042, reported the theft of 42-inch flat screen TV, valued at $300, 400 DVDs, valued at $2,000, and 50 PlayStation 3 games, valued at $400.

FRIDAY

-11:18 p.m.: warrant. Arthur Adkins, 19, Piqua, was arrested on a warrant.

-10:02 p.m.: warrant. Wendy Brewer, 39, 231 Kossuth St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-9:35 p.m.: warrant. Michael Pleasant, 27, 627 Fielding Road, was arrested on a warrant.

-9:02 p.m.: warrant. Linda Hammons, 61, 514 W. North St., was arrested on a warrant.

-8:42 p.m.: warrant. Megan Caskey, 27, 331 Fifth St., was arrested on a warrant.

-3:42 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of $799.93 after a quick change artist entered the store.

-2:51 p.m.: burglary. Heather Krieger, 33, 833 Clinton Ave., reported a burglary and the theft of an Xbox One game system, valued at $200.

-1:35 p.m.: assault. Amber Bucio, 36, 1615 Burkewood Drive, was arrested for assault.

-1:22 p.m.: theft. Ashley Gaugler, 45, 615 Montrose Ave., reported her female Chihuahua dog was stolen from the residence.

-12:32 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Deborah Phelps, 46, reported a fraud.

-9:36 a.m.: endangering children. Police were made aware of a possible incident involving a child. The case in under investigation by Child Services Board.

THURSDAY

-7:02 a.m.: theft. Chrisina Ghorley, 40, 230 Franklin Ave., reported a past theft of $100 that occurred at Walmart on Michigan Street.

Aug. 30

-6:21 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported a shoplifting of merchandise valued at $7 involving two juveniles.

Crashes

Holly McDonald, 35, 124 Piper St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 5:02 p.m.

McDonald was stopped in traffic at the red light on South Ohio Avenue at the intersection of West Court Street facing the south when her foot slipped off the brake causing her vehicle move forward and collide with the vehicle in front of her that was driven by Jan Prus, 51, 526 Lincoln Ave.

• Christopher Clark, 55, 614 Arrowhead Drive, was cited with improper backing after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:19 a.m.

Clark was parked in a parking spot facing the east across from 121 S. Ohio when he did not see and struck the southbound vehicle on South Ohio Avenue driven by Amol Wakode, 35, 2360 Wapakoneta Ave., which was stopped in traffic.

• Yvonne Harbin, 92, of Rome, Georgia, was cited with operation without control after a crash on Saturday at 10:38 a.m.

Harbin was exiting the Interstate 75 northbound Fair Road exit when she ran off the roadway to the right and sideswiped the east side guardrail on the exit ramp. She then proceeded through the intersection at Fair Road on the green light, attempted to turn right onto Fair Road, but continued northbound, ran off the roadway to the left, struck the northwest corner guardrail and post head-on and bounced across the on-ramp to I-75 until her vehicle came to a final rest after upon striking the east side guardrail head-on.

• Mykayla Davis, 22, 18288 Herring Road, was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a crash on Friday at 12:54 p.m.

Davis was stopped in traffic facing the west on state Route 47 at the I-75 overpass when she rear-ended the vehicle in front of her during the stop and go flow of traffic.

The other vehicle was driven by Kristen Hague, 29, of Wapakoneta.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:10 to 5:55 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-1:23 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to the report of an automobile crash.

SUNDAY

-10:39 p.m.: service call. Crews responded to help lift an individual.

-10:36 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-10:13 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation.

-9:14 p.m.: assist. Crews responded to assist the Sidney Police Deparment.

-3:15 to 10 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.
