TUESDAY

-4:31 a.m.: probation violation. Brittany Nicole LeMaster, 27, 1221 Riverbend, Sidney, was arrested on a probation violation. Officers had been dispatched to 2400 Michigan St. on a report of an assault.

MONDAY

-8:27 p.m.: assault. Timothy H. Edwards, of Sidney, reported he had been assaulted in the 1000 block of Clay Street in Sidney.

-5 p.m.: drug abuse. Robert Snyder, 26, of Tampa, Florida, was charged with drug abuse. He was found with a glass jar of marijuana in the 200 block of West Parkwood Street, Sidney.

-4:45 p.m.: assault. Matthew MacLees, 36, of Wapakoneta, was arrested for assault after allegedly assaulting a 72-year-old man. The incident occurred at 2240 Michigan St., Sidney.

-4:05 p.m.: assault. Officers investigated an assault at 750 Broadway Ave., Sidney.

-10:13 a.m.: vandalism. Steven J. Geise, 56, of 316 S. Main Ave., Sidney, reported a business sign was vandalized. Damage was set at $500.

SUNDAY

-6:29 p.m.: theft. Melvin Brown, 39, at large, reported that he possibly left his phone in the Dollar General parking lot on West Court Street and could not find it when he returned.

-4:23 a.m.: panhandling restrictions. Thomas Johnson, 55, 128 ½ N. Pomeroy Ave., was arrested for panhandling restrictions and prohibitions.

-1:19 a.m.: misuse of credit card. Montana Robbins, 24, 611 St. Marys Ave., reported the misuse of her credit card by someone unknown.

SATURDAY

-1:23 a.m.: theft without consent. Russell P. Whited, 64, of 918 Buckeye Ave., Sidney, reported the theft of two tires from 313 N. Miami Ave., Sidney. The tires were valued at $167.20.

-10:52 a.m.: burglary. Kristina York, 39, 1001 Fourth Ave., Apt. 34, reported her front door was open when she returned home.

-9:15 p.m.: driving under the influence. Emily Richardson, 29, 744 Countryside Lane, Apt. 5, was arrested for OVI.

-7:37 p.m.: theft. Amanda Couchot, 35, 119 E. Dallas St., reported her LG cellphone was taken at 221 W. Water St.

-10:43 a.m.: warrant. David Brooks, 20, 1135 Hilltop Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on a Miami County warrant.

-3:13 a.m.: criminal damaging. Mystic Apartments on East Court Street reported someone known damaged the bathroom door of 1579 E. Court St., Apt. C.

FRIDAY

-9:23 p.m.: theft. Suraju Lawal, 36, 701 N. Main Ave., reported someone he knows took his 2003 Kia without permission. A warrant was issued.

-7:51 p.m.: obstructing official business. Dallas Ryan, 21, 231 W. Poplar St., was arrested for obstructing official business.

-9:59 a.m.: criminal damaging. Sheila A. Gold, 73, of 214 Doorley Drive, Sidney, reported someone damaged the screen on her front window at her residence. Damage was set at $25.

-8:57 a.m.: theft. Brittani S. Lloyd, 30, of Hillard, reported her SIM card was missing from her cell phone. It was valued at $50. The phone had been at 991 Buckeye Ave., Sidney.

-7:57 a.m.: found property. A wallet with miscellaneous documents belonging to William Early, 27, 815 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. I, was found near 2000 Schlater Drive and turned into the police department.

THURSDAY

-1:58 p.m.: criminal mischief. Lindsey Michael, 23, of 1536 Spruce Ave., Sidney, reported someone threw all her clothes in a dumpster in the apartment complex.

Crashes

Loren A. Huckabone, 26, of 104 S. Pomeroy Ave., Sidney, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash Monday, Sept. 11, at 5:33 p.m.

A vehicle driven Ramona L. Diehl, 57, of Tipp City, was stopped at the stop sign on Royan Avenue, waiting to turn onto Court Street. Her vehicle was struck in the rear by Huckabone’s vehicle.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Moussa Ly, 58, 936 Buckeye Ave., Apt. 133, was cited with turning at intersection after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 3:46 p.m.

Ly was traveling southbound on North Ohio Avenue in the right lane when he made a left turn onto East Poplar Street from the right lane and was struck in the right rear by a southbound vehicle in the left lane on North Ohio Avenue that was driven by Andrew Whitley, 31, 347 Maple St.

• Yvonne Bolling, 60, 555 Gearhart Road, was cited with failure to control following a crash on Saturday at 10:11 p.m.

Bolling was traveling eastbound on West Court Street and when she attempted to turn left onto Fourth Avenue she turned wide, came off the road to the right and struck a pole.

There appeared to be no physical damage to the pole. The vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper.

• Larry Scherger, 59, 115 Kossuth St., was cited with starting and backing following a crash on Friday at 5:32 p.m.

Scherger was backing westbound out of a parking spot when he struck the vehicle that had just parked in front of 431 North Main Avenue and was driven by Douglas Selanders, 37, 412 Second Ave.

• Richard Swartz, 62, 1305 Constitution Ave., was cited with failure to control following a crash on Friday at 4:26 p.m.

Swartz was traveling northbound on Constitution Avenue at the intersection of Hancock Street when he traveled partially off the road to the right and struck a stop sign, causing it to bend over.

• Daniel Hamilton, 31, 423 S. Highland Ave., was cited with traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 4:09 p.m.

Hamilton was headed westbound on Court Street when he failed to stop at the red light at Miami Avenue and was struck by the southbound vehicle on Miami Avenue that was driven by Linda Young, 58, 1068 Colonial Drive.

• Zachary Darden, 20, 834 Crescent Drive, was cited with operation without control after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 1:31 p.m.

Darden was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street when he attempted to turn right onto North Highland Avenue but slid on the wet pavement when turning and struck the northbound vehicle stopped at the stop sign on North Highland Avenue that was driven by Christine Strunk, 55, 710 Michigan St.

MONDAY

-5:55 a.m. to 11:34 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on 12 calls.

SUNDAY

-9:11 a.m. to 8:54 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on eight calls.

SATURDAY

-8:26 to 9:38 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on three calls.

-1:49 p.m.: false alarm. Firefighters were dispatched to 2901 Fair Road for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

-7:49 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one call.

-7:30 a.m.: stand by. Firefighters were dispatched for a stand by detail.

-2:32 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one call.

-12:29 a.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters were dispatched to 109 W. Highland Ave. for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

FRIDAY

-10:53 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one call.

-10:25 p.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters were dispatched to 300 E. Parkwood St. for a fire alarm.

-7:09 to 9:42 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on three calls.

-6:38 p.m.: stand by. Medics were on stand by for a football game.

2:37 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one call.

-1:51 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the 88 mile marker of Interstate 75 where a semi-tractor trailer’s brakes had overheated.

-1 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one call.
