Police log

THURSDAY

-6:40 p.m.: domestic violence. Wayne Stockton, 35, 620 Campbell Road, was issued a summons for domestic violence.

-4:45 p.m.: warrant. Kimberly Hicks, 28, 219 Washington Ave., was arrested on a warrant.

-9:13 a.m.: falsification. James Nye, 53, of Bellefontaine, was arrested for falsification and Albert Long, 31, of DeGraff, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

-8:48 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Pizza Hut on West Russell Road of the theft of $170 from the business.

-6:43 a.m.: criminal damaging. Best One Tire & Service on Stolle Avenue reported the glass front door to the business was damaged. The cost of damage is set at $700.

Crashes

No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 11:51 a.m.

Junior Eaton, 67, 114 Jefferson St., was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when his vehicle’s driver’s side rear bed and the driver’s side mirror of the vehicle driven by Janet Motter-Knasel, 77, 10292 W. Mason Road, collided.

Both drivers denied being at fault.

• Nicholas Romaker, 32, 1140 Spruce Ave., was cited with failure to control following a five-vehicle crash on Saturday at 9:17 p.m.

Romaker was traveling southbound in the 500 block of South Wilkinson Avenue when he struck the parked vehicle owned by Eva Cardwell, 509 S. Wilkinson Ave., on the west side of the road which caused three other parked vehicles to be struck by the one parked behind it. The collision caused Cardwell’s vehicle to be pushed into the parked vehicle in front that is owned by James Ferguson, 511 S. Wilkinson Ave. Ferguson’s vehicle was pushed in the vehicle in front of it that is owned by Mindy Newland, 511 S. Wilkinson Ave., which was then pushed into the fourth parked vehicle that is owned by Chase Kizer, 519 S. Wilkinson Ave.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-1:18 to 7:58 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.

THURSDAY

-12:25 to 8:31 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-11:59 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to an odor of smoke at the Wagner building on Fair Road which was upgraded to a box alarm for a structure fire
