MONDAY

-6:59 p.m.: theft. George Sniffen, 49, 605 Arrowhead Drive, reported the theft of a 42-inch Syvania Flat screen TV, valued at $200, from his vehicle in the 600 block of North West Avenue.

-4:12 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Chayce Roberts, 23, 614 East Ave., was arrested on a grand jury indictment, for trafficking in drugs and possessing criminal tools.

-12:19 a.m.: drug abuse. Keith Bender Jr., 22, of Cincinnati, was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

SUNDAY

-9:26 p.m.: domestic violence. Alexander Crusey, 22, 621 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-2:55 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was arrested for being unruly.

-1:23 p.m.: theft. Amanda Heath, 30, of Sidney, reported $500 and her car/house keys were missing from her residence.

-2:11 a.m.: drug abuse. Jerrod Landers, 22, 1818 Robert Place, was arrested for drug abuse.

-12:05 a.m.: offenses involving underage persons. Jayce LeMaster, 19, 527 Chestnut Ave., was arrested for prohibitions.

SATURDAY

-12:39 p.m.: burglary. Kierra Scarberry, 23, 120 Mound St., reported a burglary at her residence and the theft of a flat screen TV, valued at $200.

-10:43 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Jerilyn I. Koontz, 43, at large, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

FRIDAY

-10:11 p.m.: theft. Arinalda Cyr, 22, 515 S. West Ave., reported the theft of her brown purse, containing $19, a PNC bank card, an ID card and other miscellaneous cards from her vehicle at 742 Foraker Ave.

-6:56 p.m.: criminal damaging. Bryce White, 18, 116 N. Pomeroy Ave., was arrested for criminal damaging after Alexis Kimbro, 19, of Piqua, reported her iPhone 8, valued at $1,000, was damaged. Kimbro also reported the theft of $100 from 116 N. Pomeroy Ave.

-5:42 p.m.: trash dumping. Molly Kirtley, 52, 627 E. Court St., reported someone dumped trash into her yard.

-4:26 p.m.: warrant. Daniel A. Vonderhuevel, 31, of Bradford, was arrested on a warrant.

-3:09 p.m.: criminal damaging. Jessica Peltier, 29, 4217 Hardin Wapakoneta Road, reported the hood of her 1999 Honda CR-V was damaged; cost set at $100.

-2:46 p.m.: endangering children. Courtland Monaghan, 26, of Dayton, was arrested for endangering children.

-11:40 a.m.: forgery. Minster Bank on West Russell Road reported receiving counterfeit money.

-10:05 a.m.: theft. Dallas Hughes, 19, 302 E. Lyndhurst St., reported a past theft of $200.

-6:22 a.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Erik Jackson, 22, 957 ½ Buckeye Ave., was arrested for driving under OVI suspension.

Nov. 23

-10:26 a.m.: identity theft. Marianne Unger, 38, 707 Broadway Ave., reported someone purchased an iTunes card, in the amount of $100, using her information.

Crashes

No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 5:53 p.m.

Ronnie Stephens, 26, of Fletcher, was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street when he struck the westbound vehicle attempting to turn left onto Vandemark Drive that was driven by Carl Watterson, 44, of Piqua.

Stephens told police Watterson turned in front of him, but police were unable to determine who was at fault, so no citation was issued.

• David Cook, 49, 1801 Glenn Place, was cited for right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 3:49 p.m.

Cook was backing out of his driveway on Glenn Place when he struck an eastbound vehicle on Glenn Place that was driven by Zachary Schatz, 34, of Troy.

• Michael Lee, 51, 405 ½ S. Miami Ave., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Lee was traveling southbound on North Buckeye Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the parked vehicle owned by Misty Young, of New Bremen, in front of 725 N. Buckeye Ave.

• Melissa Lange, 50, 234 Court St., was cited for failure to control following a crash on Sunday at 12:58 p.m.

Lange was traveling northbound in the 1800 block of Fairoaks Drive when she lost control of the vehicle on the ice covered road and struck a parked vehicle facing the south owned by Emma Cornett, 1867 Fairoaks Drive.

• Megan Knox, 36, 1627 Catalpa Place, was cited with failure to control after a crash on Sunday at 2:03 a.m.

Knox was traveling northbound on Fair Oaks Drive when she attempted to turn west onto Catalpa Place and slid off of the icy and snow covered road and into a street sign.

• Adam Doenges, 35, 850 E. Parkwood St., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Saturday at 11:10 p.m.

Doenges was traveling eastbound on East Parkwood Street when he lost control on the icy road and struck the vehicle owned by Donna Jones, 806 E. Parkwood St., that was legally parked in front of her home.

• Dana Stanely, 22, of Piqua, was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 4:18 p.m.

Stanely was traveling eastbound on West Court Street when she was unable to negotiate the curve in the road and struck the guardrail on the left side of the roadway, crossed all lanes going over the curb and into the grass on the right side of the road before coming to a stop.

• Hui Chen, 46, 113 S. Ohio Ave., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 3:54 p.m.

Chen was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street when he failed to stop and struck the rear of the vehicle stopped at the stop sign in front of him that was driven by Tyler Wilson, 23, 229 New St.

• Kevin Sandler, 46, 133 Windsor, was cited with failure to control after a crash on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Lee was traveling southbound on North Walnut Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole at the intersection of West North Street.

• Ernest Vestal, 71, 812 Johnston Drive, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 4:53 p.m.

Vestal was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street when he failed to stop and struck the rear of the stopped vehicle at the light in front of him that was driven by Torie Vandegrift, 40, 769 Countryside Lane.

• Tevyn Osborne, 20, 1816 Glenn Place, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 12:59 p.m.

Stanely was traveling eastbound on Russell Road approaching Fourth Avenue when attempted to turn right onto Fourth Avenue and failed to negotiate the turn and struck the northbound vehicle stopped in traffic at the light on Russell Road that was driven by Kenneth Phelps, 48, 131 Mound St.

• Carlene Stearns, 66, 333 E. North St., was cited for an improper left turn after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 10:53 a.m.

Stearns was traveling westbound on East North Street when she attempted to make a left turn into the private drive of 333 E. North St. and struck the eastbound vehicle on East North Street that was driven by Scott Fisher, 41, 117 W. Robinwood St.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-9:08 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched for the mutual aid of Lockington Fire Department.

-6:42 a.m.: fire. Crews conducted a smoke investigation. Nothing was found.

-2:49 a.m. to 1:37 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

MONDAY

-3:51 p.m.: service call. Firefighters were dispatched to free a person from an elevator that had malfunctioned.

-3:55 a.m. to 10:16 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

SUNDAY

-7:07 a.m. to 9:23 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

SATURDAY

-3:33 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to an automobile crash.

-12:30 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls. One was canceled en route.

FRIDAY

-8:42 a.m. to 9:36 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

-7:57 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to an activated smoke detector. No problem was found.
