THURSDAY

-3:38 a.m.: theft. Roy Elder Jr., 41, 119 ½ W. Dallas St., reported someone damaged his spade, valued at $10, and snow blower, valued at $100.

WEDNESDAY

-4:52 p.m.: theft. Aaron Leach, 31, 324 Buckeye Ave., reported the theft of a Hogwarts satchel/purse, valued at $40, from his residence.

-1:52 p.m.: lost property. Jennifer Russell, 38, 2745 Kristy Way, reported she lost her Coach wallet, valued at $50, containing $615, her driver’s licence and insurance cards.

-11:41 a.m.: burglary. Brandon Wilkins, 23, 1225 Evergreen Drive, reported someone broke into his home and took a black Jennings .22-caliber pistol containing six rounds of ammunition, valued at $50, a black Derringer .38-caliber pistol containing two rounds of ammunition, valued at $150, a black Springfield 9 mm pistol with two clips containing 16 and 10 rounds of ammunition, and a fire safe containing $3,000 from the residence. A police investigation continues.

-9:34 a.m.: warrant. Ashley M. Thorton, 33, of Troy, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

Crashes

Trent Hogue, 24, 723 Marilyn Drive, was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 1:49 p.m.

Hogue was traveling northbound on Sixth Avenue and when attempting to turn right on Marilyn Drive her vehicle slid on the ice and struck a curb and steel drain cover. The collision broke the driver’s side tire, which then damaged the vehicle’s fender and door.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-4:29 to 9:40 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls. One of the calls prompted a carbon monoxide investigation.

WEDNESDAY

-10:39 p.m.: odor. Firefighters conducted an odor investigation.

-8:33 a.m. to 10:32 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.
