FRIDAY

-5:57 a.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to Koenig Equipment, Inc., on County Road 25A in Dinsmore Township on the report a suspicious truck parked at the gates of the business.

THURSDAY

-8:59 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies were dispatched to Rivers Edge Sports Bar on Riverside Drive in Clinton Township on the report a person was being a problem.

-5:20 p.m.: property damage crash. Deputies were dispatched to Clem Road at Gearhart Road in Clinton Township on the report of a crash.

-3:27 p.m.: assist other unit. Deputies were dispatched to the 9200 block of state Route 119 in Van Buren Township to assist other units.

FRIDAY

-3:13 to 6:33 a.m.: prowlers. Anna Police and Deputies responded to three calls at 302 Meadowview Lane in Dinsmore Township on the report of prowlers.

-2:24 a.m.: suspicious person. Anna Police responded to 302 Meadowview Lane in Dinsmore Township on the report of two suspicious people in the area.

Crashes

No one was cited following a crash on Thursday at 7:35 a.m.

Christa L. Morris, 58, 16687 E. Mason Road, Sidney, was operating a Sidney school bus eastbound on Mason Road and when attempting to pass a Rumpke Transportation trash truck, the bus struck the driver’s side, rear corner of the trash truck, which was parked and collecting trash on the right side of the road in front of 2731 Mason Road with the passengers side and rear tire of the bus.

• Ronald W. Young, 60, 13181 Luthman Road, Minster, was cited with failure to control after a four-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 8:08 a.m.

Young was traveling northbound on Schmitmeyer Baker Road and when attempting to stop at the stop sign, slid into the intersection due to the slick road conditions, and then was struck in the front driver’s side front corner panel by the eastbound vehicle on state Route 274 that was driven by Anthony R. Eshleman, 47, 131 Bear Drive, New Bremen.

As a result of the collision, Eshleman’s vehicle then traveled into the path of and was struck by the westbound vehicle driven by James W. Gaskell, 51, of Troy. Eshleman’s vehicle continued eastbound, went off the north side of the road and came to a stop in the ditch.

Gaskell’s vehicle then slid northwest into the vehicle driven by Kevin A. Scott, 46, 6425 Botkins Road, New Knoxville, that was stopped at the stop sign on state Route 29.

Scott was transported by New Bremen EMS to Wilson Health

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-7:09 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 17500 block of Montra Road in Jackson Township.
