SIDNEY — Fairlawn Local School’s juniors and seniors will celebrate the theme “A Masquerade Ball” during their prom on Saturday, April 28.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m., with the crowing of the king and queen at 6:30 followed by dinner at the Shelby Oaks.

The dance will follow dinner around 8 p.m., lasting until 11 p.m.

The doors open at 11:30 p.m. for the after prom celebration lasting until 3 a.m. at Fairlawn School. Prizes and grand prizes will be given during this time, and students must be in attendance to win.

Candidates for prom queen include Abbey Goins, daughter of Pam and Greg Goins; Jenny Lang, host parents are Maribel and Cory Huelskamp; Annie Stemen, daughter of Amy and Tony Stemen; and Lauren Weinschenk, daughter of Karen and Steve Weinschenk.

Candidates for king are Drew Brautigam, son of Angie and Andy Brautigam; Luke Hickman, son of Matt and Jodi Hickman; Tyler Kelch, son of Laura and David Kelch; and Aarron Swiger, son of Amber Millhouse and Jason Swiger.
