Sixth-graders compete at Hardin-Houston Science Fair

HOUSTON — The Annual Hardin-Houston Science Fair was held on March 31. The sixth grade students were required to create a presentation board pertaining to their topics.

In each sixth grade class the winners were:

Mrs. Koverman’s Class:

First: Kyle Low “Homopolar Motor”

Second: Allison Sharp “Spud Time”

Third: Noah Baltes “Go With the Flow”

Mrs. Knouff’s Class:

First: Megan Maier “The Mind Game” and Peyton New “Pop & Rock”

Second: Colton Spriggs “A Minty Explosion” and Dalton Smith “Egg in a Bottle”

Third: Ryan Ely “A Dirty Problem”

Mrs. Larger’s Class:

First: Israel Smith “It Keeps Going & Going”

Second:Cole Crim “1,2,3….Blast Off!”

Third: Kiannah Jones “Beginning to End!”

The overall first place winner was Megan Maier, second place overall was Peyton New, and third place overall was Israel Smith.
