PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division will offer a variety of computer workshops through hands-on, instructor-led training from beginner through advanced.

The workshops are designed to provide participants with a lot of material in a short time. The workshops, to be taught by Deborah Adkins, are intended to help individuals brush up on existing skills and master new ones.

“The instructor-led workshops combine helpful visual aids, hands-on exercises, take-home reference materials and time to discuss how concepts learned can be applied in real-world scenarios,” Adkins said.

Class offerings include Microsoft Access 2013, Level 1; Microsoft Excel 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft Word 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft PowerPoint 2013; and Microsoft Outlook.

The workshops will run on various dates and times throughout the months of August, September, October, November and December. All classes will be in the Adult Technology Center in Piqua.
