PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center invites students and parent/guardians to pick up schedules on Tuesday, Aug. 16, from noon to 7 p.m. in the Stickley Dining Commons.

According to Enrollment Coordinator Andrew Snyder, Career Center counselors; program and academic instructors; cashiers; the school nurse; and supervisors will be on duty in the dining commons or their classrooms for the entire seven hours.

“Students may get their schedules and other first-day-of-school information,” he said

He also indicates that uniforms ordered earlier this spring will be available for pick up.

“More recent uniform orders will be available in the first two weeks of school,” Snyder said.

Multiple cashiers will be available to process school fee payment. Amounts vary by career technical program. Delayed payment or financial assistance is available for students with documented financial hardship. Required forms will be available Aug. 16.

The first day of school for new students is Friday, Aug. 19. All Upper Valley Career Center students, returning and new, will attend Monday, Aug. 22. The school day begins at 8:23 a.m. and ends at 2:44 p.m.
