LIMA — The University of Northwestern Ohio is preparing for its largest influx of students on any one day during the year.

The university campus dorms will have nearly 600 students move in, August 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The students are travelling from 24 states and Saudi Arabia. Aug. 22 is the first day of classes for the College of Applied Technologies fall session. For students in the colleges of Business, Health Professions, Occupational Professions and Graduate College, classes start Sept. 12.

As students move in, they will be treated to complimentary food and refreshments by Grace Community Church and be offered assistance from the UNOH RACER Leaders. Incoming students are also invited to special events at Racers Station to help them meet one another and make new friends before classes begin.

More than 4,500 students attend the University of Northwestern Ohio, with 1,600 students living in campus dorms. More than 200 students graduate from UNOH every six weeks.
