PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center Student Services Director, Matt Meyer, released the names of the Career Center’s High School Students-of-the-Month for October 2016.

According to Meyer, students from each program are named for the honor to recognize extra effort and encourage leadership, scholarship, citizenship and community service abilities.

The honorees for October were:

Botkins: McKenzie Depinet, Early Childhood Education and Care I; Joseph Fisher, Automotive Collision Repair II;

Ft. Loramie: Lane Eilerman, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Technologies I (Government);

Houston: Tristan Brandenburg, Computer Information Technologies I; Kyle Flaute, Computer Information Technologies II; Abriana Dienhart, Medical Technologies II; Miami East: Abigail Jenkins, Automotive Technologies II (English);

New Knoxville: Katelyn Niemeyer, Interactive Media I; Newton: Holly Bucholtz, Exercise Science II; Piqua: Jordan Bolin, Culinary Arts II (Global Events); Laura Pritchett, Exercise Science I; Kenneth Surrells, Electrical Trades I;
