KENT — Jarrett Allen Mescher, a 2016 graudate of Sidney High School, has been named to the dean’s list at Kent State University for his freshman first semester with a 3.9 GPA.

Mescher is majoring in English education. He is the son of Nathan Mescher and Michele Jones. He is the grandson of Kenneth Mescher and Susan Mescher and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jones.
