JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center Schools held its annual spelling bee, Jan. 19.
More than 80 students in grades 4 to 8 participated. The bee was won by seventh-grader Shayne Roller, with the correct spelling of the word “victrola.” The first runner-up was eighth-grader Regan Davidson and the second runner-up was sixth-grader Lakota Massengale. Shayne will represent Jackson Center at the regional spelling bee, March 11, in Lima.
