Camp Excel returns to Upper Valley Career Center

PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center announces the dates of Camp Excel, a summer STEM program for grades 4 through 7. The camp will be held on the main campus June 5 through June 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Camp participants rotate through a series of topics they select including aquatic robotics, basic building and carpentry, cosmetology, junior chef, STEM engineering fun, planes and rockets, greenhouse, and learn to sew.

“We are excited to expand the STEM and career technology available at Camp Excel through the opening of Fab Lab 112?” Use of this maker’s space is just one of the new classes available to our campers,” said Andrew Snyder, camp coordinator.

Registration is now available online at www.uppervalleycc.org. The cost per camper is $100. Completed forms and payment are required by May 19.
