Anna science students honored

COLUMBUS — Students from Anna High School competed in the State Science Day at the Ohio State University, May 13.

The competition was sponsored by the Ohio Academy of Science.

Courtney Hollenbacher, Lucas Huber, Nathan Osborne, Brad Axe, Kyle Christman, Jane Homans and Ally Cisco represented Anna High School under the supervision of science teacher Vicki Quinter.

The Ohio Academy of Science awards the Harold C. Shaw Outstanding School trophy to the top schools in the state at State Science Day. The school has to have at least four students receive a superior rating or have more than four projects with 80 percent of the students receiving a superior rating, and no good ratings. Anna received the award this year.
