Schulze scholarship winners named

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Education Foundation has named the recipients of the James F. and Marcia L. Schulze Scholarship.

They are Cole Cordonnier, son of Holly and Dave Cordonnier, and Clint Ratermann, son of Robin and Karl Raterman.

The men are 2015 graduates of Fort Loramie High School. They both attend the Ohio State University and both are mechanical engineering majors. Each received a $1,000 grant.

The James F. and Marcia L. Schulze Scholarship fund is to benefit graduates from Fort Loramie High School who pursue a degree in engineering. The recipients must surpass their freshman year status and are eligible to be awarded the scholarship for two years.

The officers and directors of the Fort Loramie Education Foundation are Luke Snider, president; Angie Gaier, vice president; Shelly Pleiman, treasurer; Jane DeLoye, secretary; Jessica Gaier, Lynn DeLoye and Craig Dues, directors; Vernon Siegel Jr., Board of Education representative; and Dan Holland, superintendent.
