Pennies for Florida and Texas

The week of Sept. 11-15, students and staff at Christian Academy Schools participated in a “Penny Drive” to help the hurricane victims in Texas and Florida. They collected $329.13. All monies were given to the American Red Cross. Shown donating pennies are, left to right, Emerson Stein, Lee Searcy, high school principal, Fred Browning and his grandchildren, Rebecca Keller and Alex Keller. Browning brought in 30 pounds of pennies for his grandchildren. Emerson, a sixth-grade student, is the daughter of Richard and Suzanne Stein, Sidney. Fourth-grader Rebecca Keller and first-grader Alex Keller are the children of Jerome and Andrea Keller.
