Macey Grise of New Choices visited Longfellow as a part of their Kindness Day. She read the book Bullying is Bad to all students, which each student received a copy of. The activity was coordinated to go with New Choice’s Domestic Violence Awareness Wear Purple Day. The philosophy of Amanda Partington and Macey Grise from New Choices is to teach kindness at a young age to prevent violence later. Grise gives books to kindergartners Brooklyn Durr and Chassidy Cantrell.
