Congressional Art Competition finalists

Deputy District Director for U.S. Rep. Taylor stopped by GAC to pick up the two pieces which were chosen to be in a show at Temple Christian School in Lima for competition finalists. Artwork for the show is submitted by students located throughout the Ohio 4th Congressional District. On Friday, April 22 one of the pieces being shown will be declared the grand prize winner. The winner gets a trip to Washington D.C. and the honor of having their work hung in the Library of Congress for a year. The two pieces Taylor picked up were “Self-Portrait” by Joshua Marruffo and “The Eyes of Lincoln” by Heidi Parker, both Sidney High School students. Luke Gronneberg | Sidney Daily News
