SIDNEY — First Baptist Church, 309 E. North St., Sidney, Ohio, will host a celebration for the installation service of the church’s new pastor, the Rev. John Young. The ceremony will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019, at 3 p.m. A reception will follow.

The congregation is excited about the future ministry of the church under Young’s leadership. The installation message will be delivered by ABC Ohio Executive Minister, Reverend Mark Click.

Young is a resident of Anna, Ohio. He is married to Brenda and God blessed them with three sons, Andrew, John and Titus. Young has more than 40 years of pastoral experience and has earned degrees in business administration, pastoral ministry and Bible from Hawaii, Alabama and Ohio. He is a Vietnam veteran who served eight years in the United States Marine Corps and is also a successful business man.
