The Rev. Robert Hill, center, of St. Marks Episcopal Church, 231 N. Miami Ave., blesses more than 550 pairs of gloves and mittens and hats Sunday at the church. Brothers Christian Nolan, left, and Chad Nolan, had set a goal of collecting 200 sets of hats and gloves this year. Thanks to members of the congregation, the goal was surpassed. The brothers will be donating the items to Whittier and Longfellow Elementary Schools for distribution to students in need. They are the sons of Chad and Jennifer Nolan, of Sidney.
