SIDNEY — Shelby County will participate in the annual Life Chain observance, which will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1, in more than a thousand communities across North America. The purpose of the event is to promote respect for all human life, with special attention to the protection of unborn children. The Life Chain is sponsored by Shelby County Right to Life and will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the west steps of the courthouse.
