The Way International celebrates 75th anniversary

NEW KNOXVILLE — The Way International recognized its 75th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017.

A special anniversary celebration was held at The Way International Headquarters in New Knoxville, Ohio. Founded on Oct. 3, 1942, The Way International is a worldwide, nondenominational Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship ministry headquartered in New Knoxville, Ohio.

In recognition of 75 years of Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship, The Way International held a two-day event for registered participants from across the United States and from around the world. The celebration kicked off with a musical showcase on Saturday evening, Sept. 30, in the Victor Paul Wierwille Prevailing Word Auditorium. A historical exhibit was also available for participants to enjoy.

On Sunday, participants enjoyed a special service held in the Victor Paul Wierwille Prevailing Word Auditorium. This service included a teaching emphasizing the theme for the new ministry year, “The Word of God Is the Will of God” presented by the President of The Way International, Rev. Jean-Yves De Lisle.

Way Disciple Outreach Group XXIV was highlighted during the service. The Disciples of the Way Outreach Program is a ministry initiative designed to enhance a Biblically disciplined lifestyle in its participants, who in turn share the quality of life and truth they learn from the Bible with others. The Way Disciples of Outreach Group XXIV were commissioned from The Way International Headquarters to locations throughout the United States.

At the close of the teaching service, those in attendance were invited to a special anniversary reception for fellowship and refreshments.
