To the editor:

On the morning of June 23, in the pouring rain, I fell in the parking lot at Walmart and fractured my pelvis. I want to thank Bruce Henderson and another man I do not know that helped get me into my car so I could get to the hospital.

I’d also like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides, and everyone at Wilson Memorial Hospital that helped take such good care of me until I was transferred to Versailles Healthy Care Center.

I feel so blessed to live in a community of kind and caring people that are willing to help others. Thank you for being there for me.
