Five at the Fort 5Kset for Fourth of July

FORT LORAMIE — The annual Five at the Fort 5K run/walk will be held on the Fourth of July in Fort Loramie, it was announced this week.

This year’s race will include professional chip timing, managed by Can’t Stop Running of Piqua.

The course remains the same as last year, and the registration fee is $40.

Pre-registered runners may pick up their packets in the Fort Loramie High School cafeteria on the morning of the race. You can also register on the day of the race.

Parking will be available at the high school.

The top three male and female runners in each age division will receive a medal and the top male and female finishers overall will each receive $100.

There will be many door prizes distributed at the conclusion of the race.

A one-mile fun run will begin at 9:15 a.m., with a one dollar registration fee on the day of the race.

The Five at the Fort is part of the Shelby County 5K Tour. All proceeds benefit the Fort Loramie High School football program.
