Fort Loramie senior standout Jessica Boerger, a two-time County Player of the Year in girls basketball, was named first-team All-Ohio by the Associated Press this week.

The team was chosen on the recommendations of a media panel.

Boerger is a 5-foot-10 senior who averaged 14.9 points per game this season and led the Lady Redskins to the County championship. She also averaged 5.1 rebounds per game and led the team in assists and steals.

There was one other County player to receive recognition on the All-Ohio team. Fairlawn junior Audrey Francis, the area’s leading scorer, was named to the honorable mention list.

In addition, New Bremen’s Paige Jones also made the honorable mention list. She averaged 11.7 this season.
