SIDNEY — The Shelby County Whitetails Unlimited will hold its annual Outdoor Youth Day on Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shelby County Fish and Game, 9210 Sidney-Freyburg Road in Sidney.

Registration will be from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. The event is for ages 7-to-15, and pre-registration is required and due by Aug. 6, with no exceptions. The youth day will be limited to the first 120 to register.

The day will include a fishing derby, archery, a shooting simulator, rock wall, trap shooting, and paint ball shooting.

Equipment will be provided and there will be adult supervision. There will also be safety instruction, raffle prizes and awards.

All activities will be free.

The Shelby County Whitetails Unlimited encourages participating youth to bring non-perishable foods to donate to the local food pantry.
