There have been three hole-in-ones shot recently at Shelby Oaks Golf Club, reports club pro Rob Fridley.
Mark Sanvido got his ace during the Shely County Senior Open Saturday, on the No. 4 north hole. The hole was playing 120 yards and he used a pitching wedge to knock his tee shot right into the hole.
He celebrated by buying a round of refreshments for everyone in the clubhouse.
• Scott Koppin also recorded an ace on the No. 4 north hole, which was playing 124 yards.
His playing partners were Jim Koverman, Steve Davidson and Joe Sears.
• Finally, Phil Brenner aced the No. 8 hole on the south course for his second career hole-in-one.
His playing partners were Ed Green and Steve Elsner.
